In this session we look at different types of bridges, We build a Truss bridges. The children work in groups of 2 / 3 to  build triangles. We then follow directions to build sections of a Truss bridge and join them together to create a 2-3 metre bridge. The children then design and build a motorised train to cross the bridge..

This session includes  Bridge building , Train design and building. KS2.

This workshop can be based around Victorians, brunel, Industrial revolution or a grand designs project.
